HornerXpress® Long Island 2026 Spring Training

Spring 2026 Technical Training

Spring Training is a technical training program available to all swimming pool & spa professionals. HornerXpress® is an Education Partner with the Long Island Pool and Spa Association (LIPSA) to offer CEUs for contractor license renewal.
2 CEUs per class.

Admission is $30 per class. All proceeds benefit Every Child A Swimmer (ECAS) which is a 501c3 non-profit. ALL FUNDS will be earmarked for the Long Island area.

Pool Electric
Instructor: Jeff Camilleri from TCB Electric

This course will discuss the different systems available in the marketplace, how they work and basic electrical information.

Water Chemistry

Learn about water balance, the use of specialty chemicals, and how to keep pools safe with various finishes and for pool users.

This course explores the rising demand and profitability of outdoor living hardscapes and amenities.

Chlorine Generation

This course will discuss the types of chlorine sanitation systems and how they are used to dispense them.

Heat Pumps & Inverter Technology

Understand how a heat pump works and why heat pumps are the best solution. Learn basic operation and troubleshooting, sizing and costs.

Automation
Instructor: Mike Klaffka from AquaCal AutoPilot
2hrs/2 CEUs

Discuss basic functions including installation, setup and programming. Explain how to troubleshoot the basics of control systems. Explore all the features automation and controls can connect.

Refund/Cancellation

A full refund (100%) of registration/course fees will be issued if an event is canceled by HornerXpress®.Individual participants may request a refund of registration/course fees by emailing the Director of Education at lcastanza@teamhorner.com prior to the start of the event. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method. Participants who do not submit notification twenty-four hours prior to the start of a learning event are ineligible for a refund of registration/course fees.
