AP/ Data Entry Clerk

Department: HornerXpress South Florida - Ft. Lauderdale
Location: Ft. Lauderdale
Position Type: Full Time

Job Description

  • Accounts Payable Invoice Entry/Record Retention
  • Invoices are accurately entered into FACTS for prompt payment processing
  • Take advantage of early pay discounts  Misc. invoice charges are entered into corresponding GL accounts
  • Entered invoices and checks are filed appropriately
  • Vendor statement review
  • Vendor statements are reviewed daily
  • Contact vendors to request invoice copies or proof of delivery
  • Sr. A/P Analyst and A/P Specialist support functions
  • Assist with bi-weekly A/P check runs
  • Assist with other administrative duties, as required


Required Experience

  • Must have superior organizational skills
  • Attention to detail required
  • Good math skills
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with effective time management skills
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team
  • Highly reliable and dependable
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills and general knowledge of office equipment


Required Education

  • High school diploma
  • 1 year of accounts payable and/or data entry experience
